Ömrünün önemli bir kısmını bu alandaki çalışmalara adayan değerli fotoğraf sanatçısı Sıtkı Fırat, bu yapıtıyla bizlere yalnız görsel bir şölen sunmakla kalmamakta; aynı zamanda araştırmacılar için de kaynak niteliğinde bir albüm armağan etmiş olmaktadır.

In addition to this, artistic work, through whisch nations present their identity, plays an important role also in promotion strategies. By means of this work, in both English and Turkish, the natural and artistic beauties and buildings of Turkey that are veritable monuments representing the highest level attained by architecture, are being presented to both future generations and to the world, by means of photographs, which are a simple and aesthetically pleasing medium comprehensible by all. With this work of this, precious photographic artist Sıtkı Fırat, who has dedicated a great part of his life to work in this field, does not just presents us with a visual feast, but at the same time he also gives us a gift, which is a source for researchers.
